TMBA Group Ride Sunday April 4 – Get to know the DH Lawrence Trails!

Chatterly is plenty to chew on
Chatterly provides plenty to chew on

Celebrate Easter or just another Sunday by getting outside into a historic, gorgeous and often overlooked section of the Carson National Forest. We’ll be taking the opportunity to check up on the DH Lawrence trail system, which is an unofficial grouping of social trails including the Frieda and Chatterley loops (see details here), some forest roads and plenty of arroyo crossings.

It’s still early season for this trail, especially the sections up in the ponderosa forest, so we’ll be scouting out the conditions, giving it five and having plenty of fun.

So if you want to check out one of the lesser known and under-rated areas to ride around Taos, come out and ride with us Sunday morning at 10 am.

We will meet at the intersection of NM 522 and DH Lawrence Ranch road, just a few miles north of Arroyo Hondo.

There is a large area on the west side of NM 522 opposite DH Lawrence road where you can park and we will start the ride on this side as well.

Bring water and a mask and remember to social distance. We look forward to seeing you!
