Join us at Garcia Park Friday Sept 20 thru Sunday the 22

This will be a perfect time to enjoy the company of fellow MTBers in the setting of the changing aspens at our 2nd Annual Party in the Woods.

The fun includes camping, riding and camp games. All mountain bikers (along with friends and lovers of mountain bikes/bikers) are invited to join TMBA in a two night camp out in Garcia Park. BYO everything, including food and camp games, TMBA will provide the S’mores! All are invited.

At last year’s inaugural event, the rides were lively and camping among the golden aspens was sublime. We expect it to be even better this year with the addition of shuttles, games and S’mores!

South Boundary Trail is the main event Saturday, and Turquoise Tours will be helping us out with shuttles — free for TMBA members, cheap for non-members. (Time to renew your membership?). Exact times and details TBD.

Sunday’s Group Ride will be a tour of the upper stretches of trails around Garcia Park. It will be a good time to learn about new rides in the area with experienced riders guiding us.

The festivities will begin on Friday evening with a group camp out. Bring whatever sleeping accommodations you can bounce up to Garcia Park: tents, trailers or hammocks all welcome. You’re on your own for food (except for S’mores!!! we got those) and a group campfire will be going. Bring stories and tales of riding adventures, especially the ones that went “sideways.”
